Howdy, This is a problem I ran into last week when I installed the
new infomagic. What I did was to use the Windoze boot disk maker, select
my options, make disks and boot up on these. During the setup, I selected
that I would like to use the cdrom to install files. I chose my
directory, and it said "There is a problem w/ reading from the cdrom" or
something to that effect. I was given the option to quit or go ahead anyway.
Being the neanderthal that I am, I went ahead anyway, and it worked
just peachy. I installed the idekern, and have to figure out how to make
the cdrom read now, I beleive it is a question of how it is mounted.
So, if you are being put off by the first message, try to get the
files anyhow, it worked for me..... I hope for you too.
