Thompson Technologies is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer for a 6+ month contract to hire position here in Atlanta, GA.  In this role, you will report to the VP of DevOps Infrastructure and be responsible for the architecture and maintenance of the build and continuous integration environment.

Highlights:

  *   20% 401k match
  *   2 days remote/week

What you'll do:

  *   Automate common processes
  *   Design enterprise solutions and build proof-of-concepts
  *   Use Configuration Management tools to build fully automated deployments

We're looking for someone who has:

  *   DevOps engineering (Puppet, Chef or Ansible)
  *   AWS
  *   Expert scripting skills
  *   Jenkins CI/CD experience
  *   Linux expertise
  *   The ability to mentor junior engineers

Desired:

  *   Java
  *   Maven
  *   Docker, Rancher or Kubernetes
  *   NoSQL databases
