Hi Brent,

I got your email address from your job post on ossatlanta.org. I work in
IT recruiting and I just wanted to reach out to see if you happen to know
of anyone who might be interested in an open source focused job opportunity
I’m working on for a company located here in Atlanta. The title of the
position is Test Automation Architect and they can be located anywhere in
the US as long as they can travel. I’ve included a basic description below
and would be happy to answer any questions if you’d like to discuss
further.

- The opportunity is with a professional services company that is
lacking Open Source tool experience and this position is going to help them
build out that skillset and assist with landing new open source projects.

- Basically they need someone who is capable of building out an
Open Source Test Automation solution using a combination of tools like
Selenium, Test NG, Jenkins, Ruby, Java, .NET, Eclipse, Continuous
Integration/Delivery, Maven, Appium, etc.

- They have a Git Hub site where they have published a few
toolkits for open source and they need someone to head up the Practice and
present to clients and perform assessments.

- Customer facing or consulting experience of at least a few years
is important as this person will be viewed as an expert for the company and
at times will be the first resource onsite to land a project.

- Some of the situations they are looking for experience with
would be building out an open source solution that includes designing a
framework, tying into a SCM tool like Jenkins and executing tests across
multiple clients and browser/OS combinations.

- Other projects include integrating tools like ALM and UFT with
Jenkins and Eclipse and creating hybrid solutions that include UFT with
Open source tools.

Thanks for reading my email and giving this some thought. Feel free to
reach out if there’s ever anything I might be able to help you with.

Best,

Chris
