About us: We are a fast growing and innovative brand protection and
compliance company headquartered in Alpharetta GA, offering a range of
services related to trademark licensing, including a full suite of line of
business applications delivered as a SaaS product.

About the position: We are seeking an junior level system administrator
with a willingness to learn and gain experience. This is an excellent
learning opportunity for the right candidate. You will split time between
our Alpharetta office, our data center space downtown, and any place of
your choosing a few days a week. You will be on call 24/7 for emergencies
so very flexible working hours will naturally come with the territory,
along with comp time as needed. You get your choice of a top of the line
Macbook Pro or a Thinkpad, and a cellular iPad for remote support. You
bring your own phone. Our hiring philosophy is very simple: We hire smart
people who get things done.

About the technology: We are a Linux shop, running primarily Scientific
Linux (probably moving to CentOS) so basic experience with RHEL and/or it's
derivatives will give you a big leg up on the competition, though general
experience with Linux and a high degree of comfort operating at the command
line is the only requirement. MySQL and/or Python experience will move your
resume to the top of the stack. You will have the opportunity to work with
and gain valuable experience with the following:

VMWare VSphere, AWS EC2, S3, and Route53, Misc Cisco gear, Cherokee, nginx,
HAProxy, Apache Traffic Server, MySQL, Splunk, Tibco Spotfire, the Django
web framework, Python programming, complex SQL based ETL processes, shell
scripting, Redis, OrientDB, Oracle, Vagrant, pfSense, git, Atlassian Jira,
Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket, Datadog, Google Compute Engine, and a
host of other cool toys (we even have a few Windows servers here and
there), so if you have existing experience with any of these, please make
that clear on your resume even if it's just a tagline at the end.

About the compensation: This is a full time salaried position with a pay
range from $50-75k. We can discuss other benefits and perks during the
interview.

you're smart, seem like someone who can get things done, and can
demonstrate a basic knowledge of operating and maintaining a Linux install,
you will be considered. This is a junior level position, so don't be afraid
to throw your hat in the ring if you're coming from a support background,
fresh out of school, or even from the landscaping business. More senior
candidates are also welcome to apply, but understand, we are looking for
someone willing to adapt to us, not the other way around, so show up with
an open mind and we will consider you as well. We don't use the word
"overqualified" here.
