Hello,

This is a somewhat off-topic job offer, but does at least live in the
realm of Computer Science.

Pace Academy (http://paceacademy.org/) is looking for a Computer
Scientist to teach its AP CS and post-AP course (called Data
Structures and Algorithms) for the Fall 2014 school year. I am the
outgoing instructor (I need the time for my master's degree), and can
answer any questions you may have. I have also attached the Job
Description. In short:

-Two classes per day, each 50 minutes long.
-Small classes. My AP CS class was 15 students, and my Data Structures
class was four.
-No requirement to participate in any extracurricular tasks; think of
it as being like an adjunct professor. There are a few "welcome"
dinners at the beginning of the school year.
-Students are all extremely well behaved, smart, very focused on
learning, and have great attitudes.
-Bachelor's degree required, though it does not necessarily need to be in CS.
-Pay should be negotiable, based on experience and degrees held.
-The schedule can be tough, as the meeting times of the two class
slowly get later each day, until they spin back around to the early
morning. They are never split across an afternoon and morning in a
single day.

If you have a flexible schedule and are looking for a way to augment
your salary, then this could be a good fit.

Thanks all,

Adam
