Top Three Skills:

1. Linux Systems (need someone that can build a system that will be able to handle the load they will have when they migrate their Cloud Backup product to Linux and add one more product on Linux)

2. Networking (networking skills using cloud technologies)

3. Ability to automate solutions (ie - there is a problem with MongoDB, figure out why it's running slow and then find the solution and then automate)

Job Description:   As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible from automating our systems which requires in depth understanding of our infrastructure, the technologies we use and great desire to solve challenging problems. You must have experience with a programming language. You have to be an expert in Linux and willing to learn number of windows services we currently have in production. Company has two products: Cloud Backup and Cloud Queues. We will be doing one more product this year on linux and will be migrating Cloud Backup from Windows to Linux.

In this role you will:

Work with cutting edge technology in the cloud computing space.

Provide Fanatical Support to our customers through your innovative solutions that create sustainable and maintainable environments.

Work on mostly Linux environments

Install, configure, update and troubleshoot services such as Apache, MySQL, MogoDB, Redis, Nginx, Memcached, Logstash

Collaborate with Engineers and System Administrators on technical issues

Make architectural design decisions, solve technical problems, and make improvements to our systems

Work in a DevOps environment where you will work closely with software development and quality engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Fundamental knowledge of servers/computers hardware and software

Excellent problem solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility

Extensive knowledge of the Linux operating system

Extensive knowledge on networking

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences

Programming experience in any language

Experience in relational databases
