*Seeking Sr. SQL Server DBA*

We are currently recruiting for a Sr. Database Administrator.  This
position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining RDBMS
structures to support business needs and application development, utilizing
strong communications and prioritization skills.  Will coordinate, review,
analyze and approve the physical database requirements of databases and all
associated objects; such as, but not limited to the applications that
access the RDBMS structures. ****

Knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to be successful in this role
include: ****

** **

**§  **Extensive experience with SQL 2000/2005/2008 – should have 2008
(7.0/6.5/6.0 plus)****

**§  **Must have OLTP, transaction processing, or payment experience****

**§  **DBA tools to do Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning. ****

**§  **Prior Upgrade experience from 2000 to 2005 and/or 2005 to 2008****

**§  **Strong replication/logical design experience****

**§  **Partitioning ****

**§  **Experience running multiple instances of SQL Server****

**§  **Resource Management within database (not people management)****

**§  **Analysis and Reporting Services on SQL. ****

**§  **Excellent verbal and written communication skills ****

**§  **Ability to work 24 hour on-call support rotation ****

 ****

Required education and experience include: ****

** **

**§  **B.S. degree or equivalent work experience with Relational Database
Management Systems with SQLSERVER, Oracle and/or DB2 ****

**§  **5 years work experience with Relational Database Management Systems
with a combination of  SQLSERVER 2000/2005/2008 ****

**§  **5 years work experience with systems development methodologies ****

**§  **5 years work experience with the design, creation and maintenance of
database structures ****

**§  **5 years work experience with the development and revision of
database standards, procedures and strategies ****

**·         **Experience with Great Plains ****
