We are working with a client that is looking for an IT Security Engineering Analyst for a Direct-Hire and Permanent opportunity in Duluth, GA. This is a great opportunity to join an extremely stable environment and work with a team of four other IT Security Engineering Analysts! Our client specializes in the financial services and insurance industry and you'd be able to own your own projects and see them from start to finish (full life cycle of enterprise information systems).



RESPONSIBILITIES:



  *   Implements and maintains information security hardware and software including: proxy servers, remote access devices, ISS/IPS, firewalls, SSO solutions, encryption, detection/intrusion prevention, security logging, and others as directed.
  *   Implements and maintains security infrastructure, follows best practices, and maintains company directed availability standards.
  *   Performs testing of computer systems to monitor effectiveness of security. Analyzes information security threats, requests and audits findings, provides solutions, and audits remediation as directed.
  *   Works primarily within IT and occasionally with end-users to ensure understanding and adherence to established data and computer security policies.
  *   Assists with troubleshooting of applications or infrastructure related to security technology.
  *   Uses ticketing systems as directed to manage work effort and participate in technical projects as a task or sub-project owner.



SKILLS NEEDED:



  *   5 years of hands-on administration experience with UNIX/Linux, Windows Server, and at least 1 commercial LDAP.
  *   Hands-on experience implementing and managing a variety of security-related systems and platforms.
  *   Expert knowledge of information security principles, tools, and best practices.
  *   Strong understanding of security and/or networking protocols and standards such as LDAP, NTFS, AD Group Policies, SAML, SSH, SSL.
  *   Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  *   Ability to work outside core business hours, including nights, and weekends with occasional travel that might require overnight stay.
  *   Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (occasionally) and/or up to 25 lbs. (frequently).
