Project Manager Job Desc

Large international electronics company located in Norcross, Georgia, is
looking for a fulltime project manager to join this large international fast
growing stable company, and this is a fulltime position ie salary plus
bonus, benefits position this position pays six figures re salary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will serve as project manager on IT projects. Primary
focus of project will be from an enterprise-wide perspective rather than
functional business application standpoint.

  a.. Expectations are that the PM will be responsible to replace current
oracle E-Business suite ERP system with competitive system in market.
  b.. PM will independently drive the activities of the project, develop a
schedule for project milestones, maintain project scope, set task deadlines,
monitor staff progress, schedule and conduct meetings as required, develop
and communicate project status, proactively drive the resolution of
outstanding issues and project variances.
  c.. PM will be responsible for delivering project on time, within budgets
and meeting the strategic and business requirements and demonstrate
experience in implementing ERP & CRM system.
Requirements:
  a.. 10 years project management experience effectively managing ERP
projects from requirements gathering, creating RFP, ERP vendor selection,
and implementation. Experience must also include enterprise -wide type
projects, not only functional.
  b.. Any exp. with Linux and Windows re IT Support, Admin. mgmt exp., very
helpful and preferred
  c.. BA/BS degree with major in Business or Computer Science or 10+
years-comparable business experience.
  d.. PM experience in the public/private sector dealing with Requests For
Proposal (RFP) and Statements of Need (SON).
  e.. PMP Certification desirable (Certification verification must be
maintained by vendor and provided at interview).
  f.. Solid knowledge of ERP Systems.
