Hi Jim,

Hope you are well!  I have 2 positions for DevOps Engineers in Alpharetta and Midtown.  DevOps seems to be the buzzword in Sys Admin/engineering and have had 4 roles in the last 2 months.   Could you please post them on the ALE job boards?  Your help is truly appreciated.

Minimum requirements outlined below:
* Good understanding of Unix/Linux command line operations.
    4+ years of experience with and participation in an on-call rotation in a production environment
    4+ years of Linux administration and development
    4+ years of experience with network design and security


* Chef, Puppet or Bash exp is needed (at least 1 of these)

* Programming expertise in more than one scripting language (e.g. python, ruby, perl)

* Strong analytics

* Proven skill sets with "productionalizing" High-Performance Computing Cluster applications (e.g. administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning).

* Map Reduce or ETL are desired

Preferred/Desired:

* Work experience with the Hadoop stack.

* Work experience with ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tools and techniques (e.g.MapReduce) to handle different level of data volume, variation, velocity.

* Work experience with system configuration and deployment automation technologies (e.g. Chef, Puppet).

* Experience in deploying software to cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. Amazon AWS EC2) a plus.

* Experience in NoSQL platforms (e.g. key-value stores, document & graph databases) a plus.

* Experience in SOA technologies a plus.

* Excellent understanding of at least one compiled-code language from (Java, C, C++, Python).
