[ALE-jobs] Performance/Capacity Engineer (Linux)

Thompson Technologies has an immediate need for a 6+ month contract Performance/Capacity Engineer in Atlanta.
You will use your skills and experience for application tuning and optimization as well as general subject matter expertise on all of our applications. This requires a combination of load balancing, performance tuning and understanding of entire LAMP stack.
Qualifications

 *   BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
 *   5-10 years experience with modeling, measuring & reporting KPIs for complex IT infrastructures
 *   2+ years experience in high volume, web hosting environments
 *   2+ years experience administering Linux
 *   Familiar with bash scripting and Apache administration
 *   Familiar with JVM tuning parameters and at least one Java profiler
 *   Familiar with MySQL administration and tuning.
