Job Description

*Job Summary:*

The responsibility of this role is to ensure the satisfaction of each
healthcare practice and advertising partner that selects the PatientPad. To
accomplish this goal, this job requires extension of the Patient Pad web
portal products as well as designing and implementing custom integration
solutions with our practice management software (PMS) and electronic medical
record (EMR) partners.



*Specific Responsibilities Include*:

Design, develop, test, and deploy Java based software including web
applications and custom integration software.




Desired Skills & Experience

*QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:*

*Required Experience*

   -

   Must have strong Java/J2EE and proven object oriented development
   experience
   -

   Must have MySQL or other relational database experience

**

*Preferred Experience*

   - Experience with JMS or any other Java-based messaging framework
   - Experience developing custom integration software
   - Experience with highly-scalable, consumer facing applications
   - Previous health care background and knowledge of HL7
   - Previous integration work with practice management (PMS) or electronic
   medical record (EMR) systems like Patient Now, NextGen, Allscripts, or
   Nextech
