Job Description:


Allegiant Air is looking for ideal candidates that will utilize their
skills to build, support, and administer UNIX (Linux, AIX, VMware)
systems supporting applications across the enterprise. The Systems
Engineers will provide direct technical support for enterprise web,
application, and database servers in our development, test, and
production environments. The successful candidates will have additional
responsibilities with all aspects of IT systems administration,
troubleshooting, security, and documentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities for this position will include:
Unix/Linux Server Administration (SUSE, Redhat) Web application server
integration and administration (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WAS, etc.) VMWare
ESX Server Configuration and Administration Storage Area Network (SAN)
Configuration and Administration Systems management and monitoring Email
Server Administration (Postfix, Sendmail, Lotus Domino) Backup server
software/hardware Auditing and adherence to Sarbanes Oxley, PCI and
other Compliance/Regulatory requirements Good communication skills 24/7
On-Call Rotation
