ControlScan, a rapidly growing company focused on the PCI Compliance market, is seeking a LAMP Administrator to lead the support of an expanding SaaS environment accessed by a large user base that is doubling each year. Position:  LAMP Administrator

Responsibilities:
* Provision and manage Linux servers (hardware and software) in a
* 24x7 production environment
* Configure and administer MySQL databases and Apache web servers
* Configure and manage backup solutions
* Develop scripts to automate routine tasks
* monitor server status daily; implement automated monitoring tools
* Deploy code and database changes to testing and production environments
* Contribute to and maintain system standards

Required Skills/Experience:
* At least 4 years Linux sysadmin experience, including patch management,
* Sendmail and firewall configuration, and log monitoring
* At least 2 years Apache and MySQL admin experience
* Strong scripting skills (bash/csh/sh, Awk, Sed, Python, or Perl)
* Creative, independent problem solving skills
* Strong communication skills

Desired Skills/Experience:
* Proxmox, KVM, or OpenVZ virtualization technology
* High Availability solutions such as DRBD or other clustering technologies
* Enterprise Monitoring systems such as Nagios or Zenoss
* Experience working at an ISP highly desirable
* Development of Web and Database applications
* Configuring/managing PostgreSQL, Wikis, Issue Trackers, Subversion, Mercurial
