Jeff Lightner's Notes:

The above is the job posting on our internal job board. It hasn't been
put on our Careers page yet because we have to allow time for in house
candidates but I don't really expect any.

Essentially we're looking for an experienced enterprise level UNIX/Linux
Systems Administrator. Although the above says 2-5 years I think
you'll probably need more in the range of 5+ years. You need also to
have hands on experience with SAN technology as the UNIX/Linux team is
responsible for the SAN. The Project Management requirement is a bit
misleading - they just mean you should be able to complete projects
assigned to you - this is not a PMO position. Experience with RHEL web
setups is a plus.

The shop was originally HP-UX and still has some large HP-UX servers
(mainly for our larger databases on Oracle) and smaller special purpose
ones but has been migrating to RHEL over the past few years starting
with the Oracle middle tier applications and smaller databases. Over
time we have moved some larger databases to RHEL as well. At this
point there are more Linux servers than HP-UX.

If you send your resume to me I'll forward it on to the hiring manager
after review. I'll be doing the technical interviews for the job.

The company is located Atlanta NW near the I-75/I-285 interchange.

We're looking to fill the position quickly.
