Verizon Wireless is the largest wireless company in the USA. We have the
following full time / employee position available:




Entry Level Unix \ Linux admin
Alpharetta, GA
Responsibilities

Incumbent will be supporting the infrastructure of our self service
handset applications team using UNIX / Linux and Websphere

Qualifications

Recent (or graduating in Dec 2010/Jan 2011) BS in Computer Science
degree or close equiv major 
Worked in a UNIX lab at school or an internship doing UNIX
administration a major plus.
Scripting is a plus

Technical aptitude, including the ability to understand detailed
technical information 

PC literacy, including working knowledge of desktop applications (e.g.,
Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.) 

Working knowledge of information systems concepts 

Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to follow directions 
Good organizational and problem solving abilities 
Good verbal and written communications skills
