Software company seeks full-time Linux System Administrator. The ideal
candidate will have experience in some or all of the primary
responsibilities however, as an entry level position, expertise in all areas
is not expected. This position has support from DBA's, programmers and other
system administrators already familiar with the technologies in use.
 
Primary Responsibilities

.  Install and maintain Linux servers (RHEL & CentOS)
.  Install, configure, and run scripts or simple queries on databases
(Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MS SQL)
.  Install & configure Java application servers (Websphere, Glassfish,
Tomcat, ...) 
.  Deploy and update Java applications 
.  Backup and restore all above in physical and virtual (VMware)
environments
.  Respond to production issues as needed (part of a 24/7 response team)
which may include onsite support at the Data Center
