</span>I don't know anything about Apple, but you can turn off voice<br>
controls/listening on Android and on Amazon Tablets at the system level.<br>
 Never saw anything that showed these settings weren't honored.<br>

When Amazon pushed an update that enabled Alexa on their Fire tablets,<br>
it was pretty clear they had and easy to disable.<br>
