Wait! Don't junk it just yet! :-)

You may want to try this Android Fore PC distribution - <span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">http://www.jide.com/remixos-for-pc . It works perfectly and it is lightning fast . Play Store works too. You can install it to an USB drive or a HD.
The installer works from within Windows as an .exe file.
I used the 32 Gig option The installer crashed on me a couple of times but I
just clicked on "reinstall using the standard options" from the
Windows crash report.

behaves like a phone. A little different when using the mouse to make screens

a lil'trip to the likes of Microcenter & find some kind of
refurb itty-bitty box for this...
Ok, I'll be a bit more specific:
I/we need some kinda thing for my parents & their office staff
(only a few people) to access the likes of personal email
completely separately from the internal company/office private
network, which blocks Just About Everything. (& it's Windows
anyway, ewww...)

Looks like that old XP box might just need to be Put Out Of Its
Misery I guess. So, I need to find "something." Thanks, Ken
