<a href="http://downdetector.com/status/comcast-xfinity/map/">http://downdetector.com/status/comcast-xfinity/map/</a> shows that there are
lots of huge outages across the USA. Didn´t find the business-class
service chart - seems they don´t have that data.
Just trying to figure out if it is the Comcast router with the issue or
on their network. If it is the router, I need to get that swapped out
ASAP before the summer travel season begins. It has been solid for
many, many, years. Their router is used as a bridge. I manage the /29 on
my router.
Outage today was from 11a-2p according to monitoring. Nice.
Still don´t know WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Didn´t touch any network
equipment at all to make it work.
If these outages mean I can get GigE service for $80/month, then FANTASTIC!
DSLreports hasn´t been useful. The Comcast section is all Xfinity stuff
and the Comcast-Direct section doesn´t let anyone read anyone else´s
posts. Sorta defeats the purpose of a ¨forum¨ in my mind.
