I have twice implement LVM while installing a new instance of Mint and Ubuntu and both times within a week, the volumes were corrupt. I had to pretty much start over with normal partitions. No thanks.<br>

a) You can resize individual LVs without adjusting other LVs (assuming you have free space).<br>
