It's only 32-bit so a pure x86_64 bit system will have to load a small pile of stuff to run it.</div><div><br></div><div>The last time I installed it on Fedora 21 for the wife, I downloaded the skype-i586.rpm file and ran yum localinstall skype... and it grabbed almost all the stuff that was needed to make it run. I vaguely remember having to run an old version of skype to make
anything work. Found an old backup skype_static-2.0.0.72-oss.tar.gz
don't know if it works - it was pre-MSFT.
