As a 20 year Linux veteran I can do much.</div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>I've been thinking about microtik. </div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>ADSL2+ bridge to a Microtik router. This removes my wireless. I then install a Ubiquity ceiling AP to provide wireless to the home.</div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>On the router I want QoS. I want to visibility into the data stream out to the bridge. I want to be able to control specific sites certain computers can go to by time. For example, I want to shutdown youtube.com during homework time.</div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>The later I am sure I can do wit a cron job manipulating dnsmasq configuration.
