<div dir="ltr"><div>One of the things I read on learning theory suggests that you "get" information about 17% the first time you are exposed to it, and about 44% the second time. Some people learn better from videos, some from books, etc. The idea is to maximize your style to the exposure type.<br><br>Since I learn best from books, the theory is that I'll watch a video for the 17% and get exposed to the concepts, and then use a book for the 44% where I do best. Such is the theory, anyway. associate cert exams. It's only $25/month, all you can eat. <br><br>

<div>I can afford two of the O'Reilly video sets. The
first choice is Git, as I use and mentor people with
it on a daily basis. Even though my skills could be
better, I'm the most experienced. :)<br><br></div>
The other question is getting the Go videos or the AWS
ones. I'm a sysadmin by trade but play with languages
for fun. AWS certification would help the career. Go
would maybe 3% help the career and give me one more
language to play with. <br><br></div>
