I've written a perl script to wrap up lame for mp3 and flac for flac. MP3C manages the process. It pulls from the CD then executes my program to encode. I create mp3, FLAC, and info file. I finally tag the flac with the info file. I'll now have to see how big the data gets. :)</div><div><br></div><div>I'm using -5 compression on the flac.</div><div><br></div><hr id="zwchr"><blockquote style="border-left:2px solid #1010FF;margin-left:5px;padding-left:5px;color:#000;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:12pt;" data-mce-style="border-left: 2px solid #1010FF; margin-left: 5px; padding-left: 5px; color: #000; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><b>From: </b>"DJ-Pfulio" <DJPfulio@jdpfu.com><br><b>To: </b>ale@ale.org<br><b>Sent: </b>Tuesday, August 4, 2015 5:07:17 PM<br><b>Subject: </b>Re: [ale] CD -> MP3<br><div><br></div>On 08/04/2015 04:57 PM, Chris Fowler wrote:<br>> Anyone recommend the best CD -> MP3 ripping program for Linux today?<br>> I have used mp3c exclusively, but am open to other options.<br>> <br>> I want to digitize all my music CDs, bag them up, and drop the off at<br>> Goodwill.
