I've just tried the new beta of Antix linux. Based on Debian testing you have up to date software drivers and whatnot. You can do normal HDD install or frugal install or just use persistent storage with Live USB or CD or DVD. Comes in two flavors systemd and regular init process. Also comes full CD or base CD I use full.
The last one is MX 14. Give it shot

http://antix.mepis.org/index.php?title=Main_Page

http://sourceforge.net/projects/antix-linux/files/Final/

On Saturday, February 21, 2015, Brian Stanaland <brian@stanaland.org> wrote:

The hardest part will be dealing with the resolution.
