well, I didn't start over, but I was able to FIX it, so I can now
again boot fedora21 on /dev/sdb6 with all my goodies still
installed.. /boot was all screwed up after I redid sda and the swap
partition. Here is the BUG I ran into ( from the fedora list):

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1187007

what I ended up doing was reinstalling fedora21 in another
partition, sdb5. Once that booted, I mounted sdb6 ( my screwed up
fedora21 partition), copied /dev/sdb5/boot/* /dev/sdb6/boot. added
the new sdb swap in fstab, and voila! sdb6 now boots to 3.18.3-201

I now have Windows 10 in a VM.. will start tweaking it. that frees
up about 800GB on drive A that doesn' t need to be used for
windows..
