<div dir="ltr">I did get their new modem and enjoy the 50 mps. I forced them to turn off me being a hot spot. Kind of pain, but they did it. But it killed my wireless off of their gateway. I connected my Netgear router to their gateway and all is good. Am running into a problem trying to do vpn. Traceroute shows I'm not getting out of the house. Investigating. If Comcast raises their prices, TV and phone will go away in a heartbeat. Now that it has been announced that Google fiber is coming to Atlanta and some metro, it will be interesting to see how both Comcast and ATT react. As much as I detest them and their ways, I use their business product extensively in our regional offices. When I switched from Qwest, I increased the office bandwidth 10x for less than half the cost we were paying for a single T1 at the time. That's hard to argue against. I saved my company $150k per annum in one fell swoop. And believe me, Qwest (now Century Link) were no angels either, they f!@#ed us over to the tune of $60k through bad billing over a period of several months that slipped through the cracks ... I will NEVER touch them again. We were never able to recover the money and my company was unwilling to play hardball out of fear of getting 18 offices disconnected.<br>

investment?!?! And you are not providing them with free<br>

point beacons. How do they continue to get away with this???<br>
