Attempting to delete the printer definitions and re-install it doesn't work (the printer is not recognized as being attached to the system and, therefore, available).<br>

What has me confused is that my Dell Inspirion 1525 laptop, running Linux Mint 17 (64 bit) does recognize it. I can't convert my other systems to 64 bit because their hardware won't support it.<br>
