I've been working on a way to convert operating modes, but it just refuses to stop running dhclient on eth0.<br>

In AP mode eth0 is dhcp. In bridge mode I need eth0 to not be dhcp so that br0 can. I've tried doing everything manually, but that did not work.<br>
I tried copying a specific interfaces file to /etc/network/interfaces and that did not work. I tried assigning an arbitrary address to eth0 and then running dhcp on br0, but that causes problems. I don't actually see NetworkManager on this system so something else is acting stupid.<br>

I need to boot and then determine our operating mode. AP, Bridge, Tor, Tunnel to UK, etc. I then need to apply settings. I think the<br>
best thing for me to do is write my own /etc/init.d/networking script. Right now I'm rebooting between mode changes, but I will work it out so that a reboot is not required.<br>
