<div dir="ltr"><div>When I put my app ( <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.tomshiro.ada">https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.tomshiro.ada</a> ) on the Play Store, Alpha testing meant that you got a private URL to the play store from which you could install the app. How your beta testers got the magic URL was left to you. No wallet was necessary for users.<br>
<br>Of course, he could also set the app up on his own website and instruct you to install it from there -- if he did that, you'd have to check a box on your phone that said you were willing to download apps from non-PlayStore sources. Once you've downloaded it, you can un-check that box though.<br>
