<p>I remember taiyo yuden dvdr's being know as the highest quality optical media for sale, but I believe they exited the DVD business and only make blue ray burners and hd-dvdrs now. Is hd-dvdr a thing or did blue ray kill it? I bought two 100 disc spindles from tapeonline eight years ago and I can still burn to them. Although dvdr might degrade after burning rather than before, I'm really not sure.</p>
