wow, it happened last night out of the "blue" :-0)<br>
I fired up <a href="http://google.com/maps" target="_blank">google.com/maps</a>
and the map flashed for a second, then the<br>
screen went BLACK!!!! flushed the cache, restarted... same
deal!<br>
this is fedora 20 amd_64 with ATI video card. googled...
looked, finally<br>
found the answer, I had to turn of hardware acceleration!<br>
what the hey!<br>
