Actually, it is displayed in alsamixer as "MM" below the each control. Toggle<br>

Not at all. One of the first things I install now is alsamixergui for that very reason. I found it was much easier than fumbling round trying to find problems with my sound system.<div class="im HOEnZb"><br>
