he is a power user he has no skill or interest in
actually programming. He just finds Ubuntu easier and

I have noticed more people asking for help since newer machines
started using UEFI, but honestly after things are installed they are
generally good to go. Linux as a whole has come so far in the last
several years with their GUI that new users have few issues related
to useability.<br></div></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Agreed -- Nvidia drivers do vex me from time to time however. I generally download those from the company site and use their installer. Other methods causes me heartache on my Kubuntu machines. Yes they are proprietary, but they work .</div>

LUGs in general have been on a decline for awhile. I even think it
was topic on a podcast I listened to recently.<span class=""><font color="#888888"><br>

Is the Drupal user more interested in a Drupal user group or a LUG? Is the Android user developer interested attending a regular Android related event or a LUG? </div>
