<p dir="ltr">I think the use of helium as a filler gas makes sense. However, He is VERY &quot;leaky&quot;. It can escape from elastomeric seals . So I&#39;m concerned of the longevity of the He in the platter cavity. </p>

<p dir="ltr">Rebuilding RAID5/6 array of these drives is going to be long. They are 6Gbps enterprise SATA 3 (SAS soon I hope) so they should be ready anything I can throw at them. </p>
<p dir="ltr">At $800+ each I won&#39;t be getting any soon :-(</p>
