<div dir="ltr">I finally got PYN to tell me where to update my primary nameserver's IP. It's burried a bit deep. Now I just have to wait on the IP to propogate out and I'll be good again.</div><div class="gmail_extra">

</div>That would be done at the registrar, so you may have to dig more. What<br>
you're actually registering is the 'glue records' for the domain name of<br>
the name server. I don't know if that will help or not.<br>

I also have a registered name server running behind a dynamic cable<br>
connection. I get around this by running an IPv6 tunnel into my network<br>
(I use SixXs.net) and registering only the static IPv6 address at the<br>
registrar. I also use two free secondary DNS providers<br>
(<a href="http://puck.nether.net/dns" target="_blank">puck.nether.net/dns</a>, and <a href="http://rollernet.us" target="_blank">rollernet.us</a>) so that my domain isn't<br>
completely dependent on the DNS server at home. Both of those providers<br>
will take an IPv6 address for the address of the master, and provide DNS<br>
service over both IPv4 and IPv6. My external IPv4 address may change,<br>
but the domain stays up.<br>

If you're competent enough to set up your own DNS server, you should be<br>
able to do this.<br>
