<div dir="ltr">I'm no expert on the matter, but a lot of the early "el cheapo" controllers using the Silicon Image chip set had problems with Linux. I think the problems were resolved with later iterations of Linux. So from my understanding your chances of success increase with the newness of the version you are running of your preferred distro. <div>
