Pretty sure that is and will be more than a drop in the bucket represented by the president's cabinet you detailed. Merging in SPSU seems more like empire building than a move toward fiscal responsibility. Larger institutions have a larger voice when talking with the USG and BoR for funding.</div>

IIRC, the announcement that KSU was hiring a marketing firm to do a feasibility study for football & the email informing me (an employee at the time) that I'd be forced to take USG-mandated furlough days were so close together they might as well have been one email.</div>
