Also, some of the yast modules (call them with "yast modulename") have commandline options that are great for scripting. The one for the firewall is particularly useful.<br>
The modules for Apache and sudo are beyond useless, though.<br>

</div><div class="im HOEnZb">I still have my Novell/SuSE SLES 9 admin books. The instructor where I took classes advised us avoid using the GUI config tools in SLES, particularly for HTTPD. I never understood wanting to use a GUI to configure Apache in the first place.<br>

Actually, SLES is significantly better off now than they were back then. The Novell years were the "dark years" for them.<br>
