Basically, it says:<br>

sudo rm /etc/fonts/conf.d/10*<br>
sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig<br>

I actually moved the files rather than removing them. Does anyone know if this has negative effects? I'm now happy with the way Firefox looks.<br>

I just installed a new mint vm and I want to disable font smoothing in firefox. I absolutely despise this feature. I realize this is highly user dependent. But, I want to see every little pixel in every letter on the screen. If it's a slanted line, like in the letter W, I want to see every little jaggy.<br>

I can never remember how to disable it when I do a new install. I've already disabled it in the Mint appearance panel. But, firefox has it's own setting you have to tweak. Anybody know the magic spell?<br>
