PS I just got the android emulator working inside a mint vm inside
windows on a dual core laptop. Now THAT'S slow!

Simulated tablet boot time was 4 minutes. Tablet responses to clicks
was 4 sec. Time to launch the web browser was 35 sec.

Doubt if I'll use it that way. I may try to move over to my desktop
and activate cpu virtualization, as well as more ram and disk space for
the vm.

It's pretty cool to be able to simulate a tablet on the pc at all
though.
I haven't tried bluestacks. I might, but I think an emulator or vm
might be better for me, since I want to go through an entire app
download and setup procedure from download to operation, as an android
user would experience it. This might work for observing individual
apps, so it's on my possibles list.
Anyone using this product might want to look at their terms. My eyes
glazed over after 2 paragraphs. But it looks like they have some
"interesting" terms regarding them tracking what you do and potentially
sending your phone text messages, etc. I would read it more thoroughly
if I was going to use the product.
