I ended up going with a Motorola SB6121 SURFboard. It gives the full advertised throughput and meets all the DOCSIS 3.0 etc. requirements that were recommended on this list. I only use it purely as a modem, with firewall on a pfSense box and wifi on a separate WAP.</font></div>

Had one or two general outages, but besides that, they have delivered on their promised speeds. I'm about to upgrade to their 100/20 service!</font></div>
