<div dir="ltr">I doubt it'll help anything, but I have some parts from an old G5 laying around. The Pavilion line is known for falling apart right after the warranty runs out. This one happened to have overheated to the point that the GPU slid off its solder pads.<br>

So, I test both the jack by itself and the jack plugged in on MoBo as<br>

On the jack alone, I get a reading of 19.25.<br>
Once I plug the jack on the MoBo, i cannot get more than .45.<br>
Time to throw the towel and deliver the bad news?<br>
