<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi Chris,<br><br></div>In your previous thread you mentioned that the size of your mailbox was a few GB, and others responded that theirs was similar.<br><br>Do you have all of your messages in the same folder? Some people seem to use their inbox count as some kind of badge of honor, and I think the number of messages in a folder would have much more to do with slowness than the pure size of the entire mail directory -- kind of like how people complain a web browser is slow, even though they have 75 tabs open.<br>

I'm seeing something interesting now. I received and email at 3:22 and at 3:43 notification popped up in Ubuntu. Could that be a clue?<br>
