<p>Do these tools kill tasks after I launch them? For example, I don't always want the Merriam Webster app running except for when I launch it.</p>

I probably could find this in google but decided to give shoot here.<br>
I enter ps in terminal emulator and what I saw was not pleasant :)<br>
Bunch of applications sitting in the memory and I'm not using it.<br>
Example Pandora, sipdroid etc. There was even com.android.smspush.<br>
Whaaaat this is a cheap tablet not mobile network device. How do I<br>
tweak what to run and what not on Android. Is there tool for that.<br>
