This may be an answer that is not an answer. However, <a href="http://gazelle.com" target="_blank">gazelle.com</a> is always buying old phones from people. They must sell them somehow. I don't know how. But it might be worth a look.<br>

If you wanted to change carriers, you could try <a href="http://ting.com" target="_blank">ting.com</a>, which resells the sprint network. They have cool pay as you use it pricing. They also sell unlocked phones. I don't know about pricing, and I think the phones are new. But, they have several different models and pricing arrangements. Might be worth a look.<br>

Radio shack is a reseller for several carriers aside from the big 3. They also have some pay as you go plans. Might be worth checking with them too.<br>
