Hi Ron <div><br></div><div>I did explore Go more than one year ago (nothing professional), and I found that is not difficult to grasp the concepts. </div><div>I used the Google channel -<a href="http://golang.org/">http://golang.org</a>- to learn the Language. They provide all the resources needed for developers.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Other aspects such as advantages, disadvantages market, etc.. were not relevant for me at that moment.</div><div><br></div><div>Pablo</div><div>ps: I'm not developing in Go for the moment. </div><div>

I want to thank you, and others, for responding to my message. I looked at the links you provided and did a bit of googling for CEDET and ECB. Those things do look interesting. As it turns out, after a somewhat lengthy discussion here on the list in the past, I've sort of made a commitment to learning VIM as my editor unless I end up using the editor in an IDE. So, I don't think I'll be doing emacs right now. But, it's good to know that these options are there. I may have to see what similar things are available for VIM.<br>
<br>
I'm wondering, are you a GO programmer? If so, could you please share some of your experiences with it? I'm just starting to get started.<br>
<br>
Sincerely,<br>

<br>
Got a question about go programming. I'm planning to start learning the GO programming language shortly after Leam Hall convinced me to do that instead of Java. I'm wanting to use an IDE, and am looking at various possibilities. I know you can program with just a text editor, but I want something which will allow me to manage full projects, thus the IDE.<br>
<br>
The only real things I've found that look comprehensive and full featured are Zeus, a Windows program but can run under Wine for ($90) and an Eclipse plugin ($0). The Zeus system looks really impressive. I'm told that Eclipse is very powerful too but that it has a steep learning curve. It appears that the Eclipse plugin is very early in development.<br>
