Also, I do not think the 6 strikes is in effect yet. Some doubt the
effectiveness of the program already - will the ISP's deal as
harshly as RIAA/MPAA want with their customers or will they in most
cases give noisy slaps on the wrists?<br>

Several courts (CA and NY I believe) have ruled that the IP address
does not identify the infringer for a variety of reasons and thus is
not grounds for suing. Apparently the courts are getting disgusted
with the RIAA/MPAA antics.<br>

coincidence, but if you did download that file accidentally, maybe
