It's free for the first year and pretty cheap after. You get a virtual Linux box and you can even get a static IP. You could set up ssh (or better, autossh) with port forwarding, then just go to your instance's IP (or name). There are such things available (<a href="https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DynamicDNS" target="_blank">https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DynamicDNS</a>), so I'm not overly concerned about it yet. And it might be time to start seriously considering using a commercial VPN service and using that as my entry point "back" to my home-server. (Is that even possible?)</div>
